The start of this school year of West Valley's fall semester is going BIG! AIAS West Valley established a new voice and a new attitude to keep architecture students well sheltered and nurtured with loads of information and experience with the built environment. Planning since the mid of summer vacation, board member President Mauricio Flores and Vice President Binh Nguyen came home from the AIAS 26th annual Grassroots Leadership Conference held in Washington DC with excitement and filled with clever ideas on how to make the AIAS West Valley club become revived, renewed and owned with bold well informed effective students that will be ready to start their journey in architecture. One of the highlights of this semester is the increase of students that are wanting to be members of the AIAS Chapter. From Volunteer opportunities, portfolio reviews, college tours, and structuring buildings with candy canes and graham crackers, the plans held for AIAS West Valley students are hidden behind the board members sketchbooks.
